OFFICIAL “SPRING KA-CHING” CONTEST RULES

April 2, 2018 – May 11, 2018

1. Introduction:  No purchase or service acquisition necessary. 
2. Eligibility:  All winners must be legal residents of Texas and 18 years of age or older.  One entry per person, per week during sweepstakes timeframe. Limit one prize per household.  Employees of Community Resource Credit Union, its affiliates and agencies and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
3. Timing: Winners to be selected by random drawing each week from April 2, 2018 to May 11, 2018. Six (6) individual, total winners each to be awarded the $250 prize. CRCU reserves the right to terminate, suspend or amend the contest, without notice, and for any reason.
4. Giveaway Process:  Six individual winners will be selected weekly by random drawing during contest timeframe. All drawings are to occur between 9:00 a.m and 12:00 noon on April 9, 16, 23, 30 and May 7 and 14. All CRCU decisions are final.  All federal, state and local taxes and other liabilities are the responsibility of the winner.  All prizes will be awarded.  Prizes are not transferable.  Community Resource Credit Union is not responsible for illegible entries, mis-addressed, mis-directed or damaged mail, or printer errors.  Winners may be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Release of Liability and an authorization for the use of his/her name, address, voice, picture or other likeness, without compensation for promotional purposes prior to receipt of prize. 
5. Prizes:  A total of six (6) $250 prizes to be awarded.  Opening an account at Community Resource Credit Union does not increase your chances of winning.
6. Miscellaneous:  Community Resource Credit Union is not responsible for any personal injury or damages caused by any of the prizes.  Under Federal law, Community Resource Credit Union is required to report the taxable value of the awarded prizes to the Internal Revenue Service.  This will result in an issuance of a 1099 for tax reporting purposes.  Acceptance of the prize is an acknowledgement of that requirement.  
7. Alternate Entry:  Individuals may also enter the sweepstakes by hand printing the words “CRCU KaChing for Spring“ and their full name, address, daytime phone number, and date of birth on a 3” x 5” card and mailing it to: CRCU, Attn: Marketing Dept., 2900 Decker Drive, Baytown, TX 77520. The 3” X 5” card must be enclosed in a standard, business size envelope.
8. Winners List:  A complete list of prize winners will be posted at Community Resource Credit Union, 2900 Decker Drive, Baytown, TX 775220 after May 14, 2018.   
9. This sweepstakes shall be void where prohibited.

ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS

Prize is non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted. Sponsor and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the contest, including, but not limited to, errors in any printing or posting or these Official Rules, the selection and announcement of any winner, or the distribution of any prize. Any attempt to damage the content or operation of this contest is unlawful and subject to possible legal action by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, suspend or amend the contest, without notice, and for any reason, including, without limitation, if Sponsor determines that the Sweepstakes cannot be conducted as planned or should a virus, bug, tampering or unauthorized intervention, technical failure or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the contest. In the event any tampering or unauthorized intervention may have occurred, Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect entries at issue. Sponsor and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, agents, and representatives, and any telephone network or service providers, are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunction, lost or delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, line failure or malfunction of any telephone network, computer equipment or software, the inability to access any website or online service or any other error, human or otherwise.

INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES, THE FACEBOOK PLATFORM, ADMINISTRATOR, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES OR INJURY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THAT ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES AND THE ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE THAT MAY BE WON. SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION, FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRIZE. SPONSOR AND ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO ANY COMPUTER SYSTEM RESULTING FROM ACCESS TO OR THE DOWNLOAD OF INFORMATION OR MATERIALS CONNECTED WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES.

By participating, each entrant grants Sponsor permission to use his/her name, likeness or comments for publicity purposes without payment of additional consideration, except where prohibited by law.
