How do I know if I am eligible to participate in Swipe + Save?
To be eligible, all you need is an active checking account and debit card, in addition to your savings account.

Can I choose which savings I would like my Swipe + Save funds to be transferred to?
Yes, Swipe + Save can go to any regular savings account that a member is primary owner of.
How much will my account transfer each day?
- Round up Option: Your account will round up all PIN-Point of Sale or Signature debit card transactions to the nearest $1 and then transfer the total to your qualified savings.
For example, the following transactions have posted to your account for the day:
$10.80 = Savings Amount = $0.20
$3.25 = Savings Amount = $0.75
$104.63 = Savings Amount = $0.37
Your total Round Up Savings transfer will be in the amount of $1.32 for the day.
- $1 per Swipe Option: $1.00 will be transferred for each debit card transaction posted to your account for the day, to the qualified savings.
For example, if three debit card transactions have posted to your account for the day, $3.00 will be transferred at the end of that day.
When are the funds transferred to my savings?
Swipe + Save funds can be expected to transfer out of your account at the end of each day. Pending transactions will not be considered until the day they have posted to your account.
What transactions are eligible for the Swipe + Save program?
Signature or PIN based point of sale transactions are eligible.
Are automated payments using my debit card number included in Swipe + Save?
Yes! Any Signature or PIN based point of sale transactions will be considered for Swipe + Save.
If I have a joint owner on my account, do we each have to enroll?
No, either checking account owner can enroll in the Swipe + Save program.
What if there is not enough money in my checking account to cover the savings transfer amount?
A daily Swipe + Save transfer will not occur in the following situations:
- The entire amount of the daily transfer is not available and the transfer would create a negative balance.
- A negative balance already exists.
What if I have a debit card transaction return?
If your debit card transaction is immediately reversed, that transaction will not be considered for the Swipe + Save transfer.
If you have a return after the initial transaction has already posted to your account, the Swipe + Save transfer amount will transfer as normally expected.
Is there a limit on the amount that can be transferred daily to my savings?
No, there is no limit.
Can Swipe + Save transfer to more than one savings account?
Swipe + Save transfers are only able to go to one designated savings account.
What if I decide to change my designated savings account?
If the receiving Swipe + Save account is changed, any scheduled transfers will transfer as expected to the new designation (savings account) the day the change is made.
Can I have Swipe + Save savings if I do not have a debit card?
No, the Swipe + Save savings are derived from eligible debit card transactions made. ACH transactions and ATM withdrawals are not included in Swipe + Save.
