Three Easy Steps to Earn Rewards
Follow these steps and start earning when your referrals open an account.
1. Get your code Open the Self-Serve Portal and select Refer a Friend to view your unique referral number.
2. Share with friends Tap Copy Number or Share to send it to anyone you'd like to refer.
3. Earn rewards When they open an account using your code, you both qualify for referral rewards.
Step-by-Step Guide

Online Banking
Step 1 — Sign in to online banking Log in to your CRCU online banking account from any web browser.
Step 2 — Click the Additional Services tab At the top of the page, click the Additional Services tab to open the menu.

Step 3 — Choose Self-Serve Portal From the dropdown menu, select Self-Serve Portal. This is your one-stop shop for getting things done.
Step 4 — Welcome to your Self-Serve Portal You'll land on the Self-Serve Portal home page — your one-stop shop for getting things done.

Step 5 — Select Refer a Friend Inside the Self-Serve Portal, click the Refer a Friend option.
Step 6 — View your unique referral number Your unique Refer a Friend number will appear on the screen. This is the number you'll give to friends and family to provide when they open their account.

Step 7 — Copy or Share your code Click Copy Number to copy your code to your clipboard — perfect for pasting into a message, email, or note. Or click Share to send it directly through your device's messaging apps with an optional personal note.
Mobile Banking
Step 1 — Open the CRCU mobile banking app Launch the CRCU app on your phone or tablet and sign in.
Step 2 — Tap the Bank icon At the bottom of the screen, tap the Bank icon to open additional banking options.
Step 3 — Choose Self-Serve Portal From the options, tap Self-Serve Portal.
Step 4 — Open the menu Tap the menu to see the available self-service options.
Step 5 — Select Refer a Friend Choose Refer a Friend from the list.
Step 6 — View your unique referral number Your unique Refer a Friend number will populate on the screen. Friends and family will provide this number at account opening.
Step 7 — Tap Copy Number or Share Tap Copy Number to add the code to your clipboard, or tap Share to send it through your favorite messaging apps — even with a personal note for your friend.

FAQs
Your unique Refer a Friend code is available anytime inside online and mobile banking.
In online banking: Click the Additional Services tab at the top of the page, choose Self-Serve Portal, then select Refer a Friend. Your unique referral number will appear on the screen.
In mobile banking: Tap the Bank icon at the bottom of the screen, choose Self-Serve Portal, open the menu, and select Refer a Friend. Your code will appear on the screen.
From there, tap Copy Number to copy it to your clipboard, or tap Share to send it through your device's messaging apps.
Good Standing: For this promotion, the term good standing is an account that is:

Currently open
-
Not flagged for overdrafts
-
No more than 30 calendar days past due on any loan payments, if applicable

Not knowingly taking part or being flagged for any fraudulent activity of any kind
Program Requirements:
- The new Member (“Referred”), must do the following to qualify for a payout for “Referred” and “Referrer.”
- Must be a New Member
- Open a Checking Account with Direct Deposit
- Complete (1) one deposit totaling $400 or more
- Open a new Regular Shares account (minimum balance of $5)
- Sign up for eStatements
- New account(s) must be open and in good standing for 60 calendar days.
- Payout will be made automatically to the qualifying account by direct deposit within 8 to 9 weeks of completing all requirements for this offer.
Referring Members can make an unlimited number of referrals. There is no limit to how many referral or rewards you can make. Employees of CRCU are not eligible for this promotion.
Terms and conditions may apply. Both the person making the referral (Referrer) and the individual referred (Referred Person) must be in good standing to be eligible for participation in the refer-a-friend or family offer. The program is not valid in combination with any other offer CRCU offers.
*The Referred Person after providing the unique referral code must meet the following requirements to qualify for participation in the Refer a Friend offer 1) At minimum, open a required savings account with the minimum balance of $5, subject to approval, 2) Account must be in good standing, 3) Sign up for e-Statements, 4) At minimum, must have two Direct Deposit of $400 or more in each month of the 60 days and 5) No NSFs. All requirements must be met within 60 days of account opening. For those who qualify, the $25 referral incentive will be posted to the Savings account of both the Referrer and the Referred Person’s account on the 60th day.
Existing CRCU members cannot be referred as part of the promotion. There is no limit to incentive dollars earned for Referrers. Business and specialty accounts are not eligible. Offer subject to change at any time without notice. All new accounts are subject to CRCU standard account membership terms and disclosures. CRCU reserves the right to reject any referral incentive redemptions. Offer valid until December 31st, 2026 . Employees are not eligible for the refer-a-friend incentive.
