Giving Back: CRCU Volunteers at City of Baytown Animal Services

CRCU's Power of Community Initiative: Spreading Joy at the City of Baytown Animal Services

At CRCU, we are committed to giving back to the communities we serve through our "Power of Community" initiative. This program is designed to make a positive impact on local communities through volunteer work and community outreach programs. One of our recent community service projects was at the City of Baytown Animal Services, where CRCU volunteers helped clean the kennels and play with the cats and dogs. We are excited to share the positive impact that our volunteers had on the animals at the shelter, and to encourage others to get involved.

The recent volunteer work at the City of Baytown Animal Services is a great example of the Power of Community initiative in action. CRCU volunteers spent the day cleaning dog kennels, playing with cats and dogs, and providing much-needed attention and affection to the animals. Many of the animals at the shelter are waiting to be adopted, and being able to interact with the CRCU volunteers helped to keep them socialized and well-adjusted.

We spoke with shelter staff at Baytown Animal Services, who were thrilled with the visit from the CRCU volunteers. They noted that the animals seemed much happier and more energetic after the visit. The shelter has limited resources and relies heavily on volunteers to help provide the best care possible for the animals. The volunteers from CRCU helped to ease the workload on the shelter staff and provided much-needed socialization for the animals.

If you are interested in volunteering at the City of Baytown Animal Services, you can contact the shelter directly at https://www.facebook.com/baytownanimalcontrol . They are always in need of volunteers to help care for the animals, and any help is greatly appreciated.

We are so proud of our employees for getting involved in the Power of Community initiative and making a positive impact on the lives of those around them. We encourage all of our members to consider volunteering in their local communities, whether it be at an animal shelter, food bank, or other community organization. Through volunteering, we can all make a difference and help to build stronger, more vibrant communities.
