We realize there is uncertainty related to the spread of COVID-19 and some of you may face financial challenges. If COVID-19 has impacted your ability to make your loan payment, we're here to help.

All consumer loan payments, including Holiday Express and Qwik Loans, may be eligible to be skipped. Credit Card, Real Estate and Business Loan payments may also be deferred. Please read below to find out how this can be done.

Consumer Loan Skip-A-Pay*

This fastest way to opt into Skip-A-Pay for your loan(s) is through CRCU Home banking or Mobile Banking, or at a CRCU drive thru location.

Easy as 1,2,3!

  • Log into mobile banking, and choose Skip-A-Pay from the menu. (For Android users, it will be located on the left side)
  • Select the loan and month that you would like to skip and agree to the terms/condidtions.
  • Review your information, click continue to complete process. It's that easy!

Credit Cards Skip-A-Pay

Please contact the CRCU Call Center to see if you are eligible to skip your CRCU credit card payment.

Real Estate Loan Deferment

Should you need assistance paying a mortgage loan, you may be eligible for up to two months of deferment.

  • For CRCU mortgage loans serviced by Member Home Loan, please email Kathleen Nystrom at or, call 866-520-4702. 
  • For CRCU mortgage loans serviced by Colonial, please visit: Or, call 800-937-6303 or 800-937-6002.

The mortgage loan must be less than 90 days delinquent. If your mortgage loan is over 90 days delinquent please contact your loan servicer, MHL or Colonial, or CRCU’s credit resolution department for direction. We won’t charge fees for modification or forbearance services. Neither will we send negative information to the credit bureau during the modification or forbearance time period. However, taking this option will increase the term of the loan and will likely result in the escrow balance to become short and increase the monthly payment once taxes and insurance are paid.

*Community Resource Credit Union occasionally offers Skip-A-Pay during times of emergency to assist members in financial need. To qualify, your first payment must be processed prior to the skipped month, you must be in good standing with the credit union and you must be current on any CRCU loan(s) in which you are a signer. By participating in the Skip-A-Pay program, you request that your loan payment be deferred. You agree and understand that: 1) the payment deferral will extend the term(s) of the loan(s); 2) interest will continue to accrue on the principal balance at the interest rate provided in the original loan agreement; 3) deferring payment will result in additional interest than if the payment was processed as originally scheduled. If you have any form of voluntary insurance or warranty coverage (examples include but are not limited to:  Credit Life, Credit Disability, Guaranteed Asset protection (GAP), Vehicle Warranty) in connection with the loan(s) on which you elect to skip a payment, such coverage may be impacted by the skipped payment. You understand that you must contact the third party company through which the product(s) is/are offered to ensure the Skip-a-Pay will not affect your coverage.   Any excess balance that is a result from additional Skip-A-Pays will not be paid toward the balance of the loan. Community Resource Credit Union reserves the right to discontinue this program at any time without notice. Certain other loans are ineligible to participate or may require signature to be skipped. Contact a CRCU representative to see if your loan qualifies.
