Role:
Responsibilities include the creation and production of media, advertising, and sales literature utilizing Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop and popular web design software. Significant contributor to the creative strategy of the credit union. Responsibilities also include media buying/scheduling and promotion tracking. This position will also be responsible for developing the credit union newsletter and various marketing promotions, communications and research strategies.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
E(Essential) or N(Nonessential) 25% Responsible for developing designs and concepts for compiling off-line and on-line marketing campaigns, including direct mail, brochures, newspaper ads, sales collateral, email, banner ads, and exhibit signage consistent with CRCU Brand. E 20% Using MCIF and other sources, develop, gather, analyze, and present research on members, products, promotions, competition, and the financial services industry for use in management decision making, pricing, promotion, product development, and target marketing initiatives. E 15% Maintain credit union web site, and assist with internet marketing initiatives. E 10% Researches and learns new technologies, current industry trends and technical advancements in order to become more efficient, and introduce new ideas and concepts to enhance both offline and online business operations of the credit union. E 10% Coordinate activities between the credit union and any marketing or printing agency, maintaining a constant check on in-progress jobs ensuring quality deliverables. E 05% Assist the Director of Marketing and Vice President with development and implementation of overall marketing plan. E 05% Coordinate and manage production of all direct mail campaigns, and all communications including member newsletter. E 05% Reconcile Marketing & Advertising Budget monthly. E 05% Represent credit union at various public functions. E

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:
Education:
Equivalent to a college degree.
Interpersonal Skills:
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with credit union staff and outside vendors/clients in matters of a personal or sensitive nature. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) become necessary to the attainment of strategic initiatives.
Other Skills::
Must have excellent written, verbal, spelling and proofreading skills. Ability to create sales presentations, plan, budget, track and effectively manage work in process. Pay particular attention to detail, ability to follow-up, prioritize tasks, handle a variety of assignments concurrently and work under pressure are critical. Must exhibit a professional appearance and attitude at all times. Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
